2016 Election Results: Here's How Reston Voted
Reston voted for Hillary Clinton in huge numbers, helping her take the state of Virginia.

RESTON, VA — Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in a shocking upset in the presidential election on Nov. 8. Clinton did win the state of Virginia, thanks in no small part to Fairfax County, and therefore also to Reston, which voted heavily in favor of her.
With 99.65 percent of precincts reporting, Hillary Clinton won 15,534 votes (66.5 percent) in Reston voting districts, whereas Donald Trump won 6,028 votes (25.8 percent).
Gary Johnson won 747 votes (3.2 percent), and Jill Stein received 245 votes (1 percent). Evan McMullin received 459 (2 percent).

There were a total of 355 write-in ballots cast in Reston.
