RESTON, VA — We're about to close the books on 2016, and there ain't nothing like a New Year's Eve party to ring in the new year. The obvious place to celebrate the arrival of 2017 would be Times Square in New York City, but if you can't make it there and would prefer to stay home this weekend, there's a few places in Reston offering some New Year's specials.
Tavern64, 1800 Presidents Street
This Reston Town Center eatery will be hosting a New Year's Eve Special from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. that will include plenty of food, craft cocktails and live music beginning at 8:30 a.m. from local artist Tommy Gann. There will be a complementary champagne toast that "will make ringing in the new year special for all restaurant guests," the restaurant says.
