High School Grads From Reston Start Semester At Pennsylvania and Ohio Colleges
A trio of students who graduated from high school in Reston have started the academic year at two different out-of-state colleges.

RESTON, VA — Three high school graduates from the Reston area have started the next stage of their education by enrolling in college for the fall 2021 semester.
South Lakes High School graduate Yasmeen Hall began in-person learning at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio. A member of the college's Class of 2025, Hall is majoring in petroleum engineering and geology.

Jonathan Valenzuela and Kaushik Duvur started the semester at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Valenzuela, a 2013 graduate of South Lakes High School, is a Ph.D. student at Lehigh. Duvur is a member of the Class of 2025 at the school.
