7th Annual Do It Your Way 0.5K To Help Fund South Lakes Food Pantry

RESTON, VA — This weekend, South Lakes High School's PTSA Pantry is hosting its seventh annual Do It Your Way 0.5K, which is the group's only annual fundraiser.

Participants can take part in the event either virtually all weeknd or in- person on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 2-4 p.m. at Lake Anne Plaza, which is located at 1609 Washington Plaza N in Reston.

All proceeds from the 0.5K will help the South Lake's PTSA Pantry provide 500 families in the South Lakes Pyramid each week with food, toiletries, and other essentials.

Local celebrities and elected officials will be on hand to help start the event. Each participant will receive a reusable shopping bag, a race bib and a choice of SWAG.

Register online now or sign up at the event on Sunday and take advantage of special pricing for students and families. There will also be a limited number of VIP tickets available for front-row seats and a few extra goodies.
