Visit your local fire station on Oct. 15 to view the equipment, tour the fire house, and meet the firefighters and paramedics.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — All Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Stations will be hosting open houses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, on Saturday, Oct. 15. The open houses are being held in celebration of Fire Prevention Week, which runs from Oct. 9-15.

Members of the public are invited to stop by their neighborhood station to meet the firefighters and paramedics that serve the community. A number of activities have been planned and visitors can learn about fire safety. This is also a chance for the whole family to check out the fire trucks and ambulances.
