Ambit Appoints Two Industry Veterans to Join Team

Announces additional strategic growth initiatives

Reston, VA – December 2, 2014 – The Ambit Group, a Woman-Owned Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, has appointed Jane Forman to its Board of Advisors. Ambit also announced the addition of Joan Cannaday as an Associate Vice President. These positions, effective immediately, will provide leadership for corporate strategy and business development initiatives.

Jane Forman is currently a Principal at Deep Water Point. She has extensive knowledge of the federal market and more than 30 years of management and marketing experience. Forman will greatly enhance Ambit’s ability to formulate and execute best practices and oversight to its government clients.

Joan Cannaday, a former Director of Business Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at Whitney Bradley & Brown, Inc., will identify and lead efforts associated with DHS and other major government projects. She is recognized for winning multi-million dollar contracts across federal and commercial organizations and has established insight into DHS operations.

Ambit also announces other organizational changes that are instrumental to the company’s strategic growth initiatives. Brett Pfeffer is promoted to Senior Vice President, Client Services, working closely with the delivery leads to coordinate and improve team efforts, collection of information and competitive intelligence. Brian Baker assumes the role of Vice President, Client Solutions, overseeing the expansion of the new Capture and Teaming division, including bids and proposals. Doug Black is named Associate Vice President, Brand and Communications, managing internal and external messaging and communications, as well as Ambit’s events and conference participation.
