GREAT FALLS, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel extinguished a barn fire late Wednesday night in Great Falls, according to a post on the department X account.
Units were dispatched to the 200 block of Walker Road in response to a report of a barn fire, according the the 10:28 p.m. social media post.
"Crews encountered a well-involved barn fire and established tanker shuttle operations due to limited hydrants," according to the post. "All occupants and animals are out safely. Fire is out."
No information was available about the cause of the fire, extent of damage, or if anyone was injured.
