RESTON, VA — Ace Monroe will return to the Reston Town Center Pavilion on Saturday, Aug. 1, for a free performance as part of the Reston Concerts on the Town summer series.
The Nashville-based band is scheduled to perform from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the pavilion, 11900 Market St. The concert is free and open to the public.
Ace Monroe returns to Reston after opening for Smash Mouth during last fall's Rocktoberfest at Reston Town Center. Organizers said the band's return was prompted by the response to that performance.
The group performs a mix of original rock music and covers, blending modern indie influences with classic rock. Concerts on the Town is an annual summer series that brings live music to the Reston Town Center Pavilion.
Concertgoers can also participate in Reston Town Center's "Sip & Stroll" program beginning at 6 p.m. Visitors may purchase alcoholic beverages from participating restaurants and carry them within the designated concert area. Outside alcohol is prohibited.
The concert will be held beneath the covered pavilion and is weather permitting. Admission and garage parking at Reston Town Center are free.
