RESTON, VA — A 10-year-old child riding a bicycle was injured in a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning in Reston, according to Fairfax County Police.
Officers responded to the intersection of Baron Cameron Avenue and Reston Parkway, police said in a social media post published at 10:07 a.m. on Friday.
The child was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to police. The vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene.
Police described the vehicle as a dark-colored sedan. It was last seen traveling east on Baron Cameron Avenue.
Anyone with information was asked to call 911.
