WHAT: It's a tail-waggin' good time you won't want to miss! Come and meet the Washington Nationals Team Dog Natty, who's a future service dog from Canine Companions, and will someday be matched with an adult, child or veteran with a disability free of charge. Canine Companions DogFest Washington DC raises money for Canine Companions service dogs to help people with disabilities. So gather your family and friends on Saturday, October 3. Clients, volunteers, donors, supporters, and your own canine friends, are invited as we celebrate the mission of Canine Companions. It will be a day of games, inspiring speakers, activities for your kids, service dog demonstrations, music, and more. Companions created the modern service dog concept in 1975 and has since raised, trained and placed more than 8,900 service dogs with people with disabilities. Special thanks to National Presenting Sponsor, Eukanuba!
Natty will have his own booth and will be there to greet children and adults of all ages.
