• County board opens door for larger Reston Community Center facility in Lake Anne area (ffxnow.com) — Fairfax County supervisors have cleared the way for a significantly larger Reston Community Center satellite near Lake Anne Plaza by boosting allowed non-residential space on the Crescent Apartments site. The move could reshape northern Reston with up to 750 new apartments, a possible expanded community center, and related traffic and open-space changes that will go through more planning and public input.
• South Lakes Reclaims Baron Cameron Cup With 48-0 Win Over Herndon (patch.com) — South Lakes High School dominated rival Herndon 48-0 in Reston to reclaim the Baron Cameron Cup, powered by big nights from Nick Picarelli, Joshua Dagbe, and a stingy Seahawk defense. The win moves South Lakes to 5-0 heading into a key Concorde District showdown at unbeaten Oakton, giving local fans plenty to cheer about after last year's heartbreaking loss.

Local lawyers also explain how a Virginia work group reviewing fault-based divorce could further boost interest in prenups, as couples look for clarity and less costly litigation if marriages end.
