RESTON, VA — Officers from the Reston District Station of the Fairfax County Police Department are investigating an assault that occurred Wednesday night in the South Lakes area, according to the weekly crime report.

Around 10:45 p.m., a group of teens stole property and assaulted a person in the 11900 block of Barrel Cooper Court in Reston, according to police.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according the report.
