Attempted Robbery Near Reston-Wiehle East Metro Station: Police

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police charged a homeless man in connection with an attempted robbery near the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station Friday night, according to the daily crime report.

The victim was walking from the Metro Station, when a man approached him and demanded his wallet. The man assaulted the victim, but he did not get the wallet. Instead, he walked away. According to police, the victim was not injured.

FCPD officers located the suspect a short distance away and took him into custody. They charged Aaron Hunt, 22, of no fixed address with attempted robbery. He is being held without bond.
