Assistance League of Northern Virginia enjoyed a beautiful sunny Sunday on May 21st at the Franklin Farm Marketplace and Community Fair. The nonprofit had a booth along with local artists, craftspeople, and small businesses. The Franklin Farm Foundation selected Assistance League to receive the proceeds from the silent auction items. It was a bit gusty, so the volunteers had to get creative to keep their displays upright.

Assistance League volunteers enjoyed sharing information about its programs with everyone who visited. There was a lot of interest in the GotSneakers donation program. In addition, one of the craftspeople said she would be donating a portion of the money she collected at the fair to the nonprofit. Another bright day for Assistance League.
