Bicyclist Smacks Into Side Of Car In Reston: Police
Police say the bicyclist was on the W&OD trail and didn't stop before crossing the intersection with the road.
RESTON, VA -- A bicyclist ran into the side of a vehicle on Sunrise Valley Drive over the weekend after failing to yield while riding on the W&OD trail, police say.
Police say the bicyclist came to the trail's intersection with Sunrise Valley Drive just before 6 p.m. on Saturday but didn't stop, and hit the side of a vehicle while trying to cross the road, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
The bicyclist didn't suffer life-threatening injuries, the report adds.
