Boutique to Close at Reston Town Center

Store closing its doors after seven years.

The Dandelion Patch will soon close its doors in Reston Town Center, according to a message sent out by CEO Heidi Kallett on Friday.

The store, located at 1810 Library St. in Reston, is concentrating on continuing to grow its stationery and invitation business which is seeing a 35 percent increase in business, according to Kallett’s message.

The store, which also features gifts for any occasion, was established in 1994. It will continue operating its locations in Vienna and Georgetown.

The Dandelion Patch has been located in Reston for the past seven years.

“We are proud to have been part of so many life events of our clients and are thankful for the many friendships, partnerships and experiences we’ve enjoyed over the years,” Kallett said in the message.

An employee at the Reston store said Friday that there is no scheduled date yet for the Reston store to close.
