To All Lake Anne Elementary School parents with children in Spanish Immersion,
I just heard that the school is considering block scheduling for the immersion program where the children would be in Spanish language all day Mon/Wed/ Fri and English all day Tue/ Thu and rotate this schedule weekly. Has anyone else heard this?
I for one don't think it is a good idea but am interested to hear why the school thinks it would be beneficial to my child. Do any other parents have a positive or negative opinion on this change?
