Burglar Breaks Into Lake Anne Home in Reston, Steals Guns from Basement
The home was burglarized on Monday and nothing else appeared to be taken.

RESTON, VA — A newly armed burglar has successfully made off with a pair of guns that were being kept in the basement of a home on the shores of Lake Anne in Reston, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police were called to 11200 South Shore Road at around 6 p.m. on Nov. 21. The homeowner reported that someone had forced entry into his home through a basement window while he was away, taking two firearms that were stored there, the report states.
Police don't think anything else was taken in the burglary, although the case remains under investigation.
