Child Porn Charges Filed For Suspect Already Arrested For Assault

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police filed additional charges for child porn possession against 25-year-old Arturo Elmore-Adon. The Reston man is already facing charges in connection with inappropriately touching a child inside a Reston store last month.

Officers were called to the 11100 block of South Lakes Drive in Reston on Aug. 12 for the report of an assault. Investigators said that while a 7-year-old and her mother were inside a store, Elmore-Adon followed them. After inappropriately touching the child, Elmore-Adon photographed her without permission and fled, according to police. No injuries were reported.

Police later charged Elmore-Adon with aggravated sexual battery and unlawful creation of an image of another under 18.

After examining Elmore-Adon's devices, investigators obtained additional warrants for 15 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. Police arrested Elmore-Adon on Friday.

He is being held in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond, according to police.
