Common, Ty Burrell Coming To Reston Film Festival
Robert Duvall and Clive Davis will also be on hand for the star-studded event, which kicks off in Reston this weekend.

RESTON, VA -- It's going to be yet another star-studded affair when the Washington West Film Festival begins this weekend at Reston Town Center, as rapper Common and "Modern Family" star Ty Burrell are expected to show up for the event.
Common, who is also an actor and activist, will be featured in a conversation to include renowned cinematographer Bradford Young, which will take place at Bow Tie Cinemas on Sunday, Oct. 29.
The day before, Burrell will host a free advanced screening of an upcoming episode of "Modern Family," the popular, long-running ABC sitcom. Afterwards, he'll participate in a 20-minute Q&A with fans.

In addition, WWFF regular Robert Duvall will be on hand, as will record producer Clive Davis. The latter will participate in a Q&A on the documentary film "Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives," which will be screened Friday night at Bow Tie Cinemas.
"Washington West is pleased to announce that it will cap its festival on Sun., Oct. 29th at 5:00pm with an in-depth, joint conversation with Bradford Young and Common," reads a WWFF statement. "Young is an Academy Award nominated cinematographer known for his work on Selma, Arrival, and the upcoming Han Solo Star Wars Film. Common is an Oscar, Grammy, and Golden Globe Award winning rapper and activist. The conversation will follow screenings of two short films: Young’s Letter to the Free and Common’s Black America Again, which was directed by Young.

"Second, two-time Emmy award winner Ty Burrell will host a special event at Reston Town Center’s Bow Tie Cinema on Sat., Oct. 27th at 7:00pm, a free, advanced screening of an upcoming episode of the long-running comedy 'Modern Family,'" the statement continues. "Burrell then will be part of a 20-minute, post-screening question-and-answer period."
