Experience Cultural and Religious Landscape of Ethiopia, a presentation and discussion by Klaus Heimburg, PhD on Sunday, February 14 at 12:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, 2709 Hunter Mill Road in Oakton, VA.
Speaker Klaus Heimburg has a distinguished career as an IT business analyst and project manager working for a number of private companies and government agencies. He has academic degrees in physics, math and engineering as well as a Ph.D from the University of Florida in environmental engineering with a specialization in water resources.
Dr. Heimburg celebrated leaving his long-term job and career in the IT industry to rediscover himself by serving as a Peace Corp Volunteer in Ethiopia. He departed without a clear idea of what he would be doing, but he found much more than he had expected.
