Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse To Celebrate Reston Grand Opening

RESTON, VA — Renowned chef and restauranteur Steve DiFillippo's will be celebrating the debut of Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse at Reston Station with a grand opening event on Monday, Nov. 1.

From 5:30-8 p.m., attendees will be able to sample tastings from Davio’s menu, as well as fine wines and cocktails. Tickets are available online, with the proceeds benefiting Cornerstones.

Having hosted family gatherings at Davio’s in Boston and Philadelphia, we are absolutely thrilled to welcome Steve DiFillippo and the Davio’s team to Reston Station” says Chris Clemente, CEO of Comstock, in a release. “Davio’s is a terrific addition to the world-class service, unrivaled social and fitness amenity spaces, exciting restaurants and Virginia's first JW Marriott."

DiFillippo said in a release that he was honored to be chosen to open a restaurant in a Comstock property.

"When I met Chris Clemente and Tim Steffan, I knew we had to come to Virginia," he said. "We feel the space is iconic and the area is so special. Everyone has been so welcoming, we can't wait to open on November 1st.”

Under the leadership of General Manager Gordon Leigh and Executive Chef Michael Santiago, the 350-seat restaurant offers a menu that includes appetizers such as American kobe beef meatballs, caciocavallo and oven baked lump crab cake, according to a release.

The menu also offers a selection of elegant Northern Italian fare, such as hand-rolled potato gnocchi, organic mushrooms, basil, truffle butter and tagliatelle bolognese, braised veal, beef, pork, and San Marzano tomatoes.

Davio's new 13,000-square-foot restaurant at Reston Station officially opens for dinner service on Tuesday, Nov. 2, and continue 5-10 p.m., Monday through Wednesday; from 5-11 p.m., on Thursday and Friday; 1:30 p.m.-11 p.m., on Saturday; and 1:30-10 p.m., on Sunday.

Lunch service begins on Wednesday, Nov. 3, and will be offered 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m., weekdays, and 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., on Saturday. Starting Nov. 6, Davio's will begin serving Sunday brunch, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Diners can enjoy the bar menu Sunday-Wednesday until 11 p.m., and Thursday-Saturday until midnight.
