RESTON, VA — The 4th annual DogFest Walk 'n Roll is almost upon us -- an event that celebrates the special relationship between dogs and people with disabilities -- and the D.C. area version of the event will be held at Reston Town Center on Sunday, Sept. 10.

"Grab your leashes and head to Reston Town Center in Reston, VA on Sunday, September 10, 2017 for the 4th annual DogFest Washington DC benefiting Canine Companions for Independence," according to the CCI website. "Furry friends and their families are invited to join us for a day of fun, festivities, graduate speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and more. Admission is free, parking is free and our event is accessible."

Last year, hundreds of people from the D.C. area participated and raised nearly $65,000 "with an agility course, demonstrations, treats, freebies, raffles, and best of all, stories of real graduate teams who live and work here in the DMV," the site adds.
