Drunk Teen Rummages Through Fridge in Reston Home at 2 am: Police

Police have charged 18-year-old Chase Little of Herndon with a number of offenses.

RESTON, VA — A drunk Herndon teenager with the munchies has been arrested after being caught rummaging through the refrigerator in a house in Reston early Saturday morning, police say.

A report from the Fairfax County Police Department states that a resident in the 1400 block of Kingstream Drive was awoken at 2 a.m. to the sound of a crash, and found a "strange man in her kitchen rummaging through the refrigerator."

The suspect fled when she approached, and police later found him going through the trunk of a car nearby, the report states.

"When they approached him, he took off running," the report states. "He was quickly apprehended and identified as the suspect who had been in the resident’s home. A vehicle owner was located and identified items missing from his car. The victims were not injured."

Police charged 18-year-old Chase Little with burglary, petit larceny, vehicle trespass, and drunk in public.
