Dump Truck Overturns Near Reston, Great Falls; Georgetown Pike Shut Down for Hours
Police spent hours cleaning up a major crash that resulted in Georgetown Pike being shut down for hours.

UPDATE 2:20 p.m.: Georgetown Pike has been reopened in both directions.
RESTON, VA — Police have shut down Georgetown Pike near the Reston and Great Falls area after a dump truck overturned Wednesday morning.
Fairfax County Police tweeted at 11:24 a.m. that the road had been closed between Applewood Lane and Ellsworth Avenue. The crash happened in the 10100 block of Georgetown Pike.

Police say they are looking at a two-hour closure at this point.
