Tom’s community service in the aging and disability area has earned him recognition from a variety of non-¬profits and local government groups. Tom is currently the Board Chair at the Alzheimer’s Family Day Center in Tysons Corner, VA. He is an active Board Member and current Development Chair of the Goodwin House Foundation in Alexandria, VA. Tom was appointed to the Long Term Care Coordinating Council by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in 2008 as well as the City of Falls Church in 2010. Additionally, he participates in the Fairfax Country Caregivers Consortium. He currently lives in Falls Church with his wife and their two children.

Tom received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and also completed two Masters Programs at the University of Pittsburgh: a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public and International Affairs. He earned the advanced Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from The American College. Additionally, Tom earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) professional designation from Fiduciary360. As an AIF® Tom performs his services by adhering to consistent fiduciary standards of data gathering, plan design, implementation, monitoring and benchmarking. He is also a licensed insurance agent (VA Ins. License #575925).
