Meet the Berenstain Bears

Calling all local families with children ages 12 and under: Childtime in Reston invites you to visit the school and meet the Berenstain Bears from Sprout from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11.  The beloved characters will be taking part in the school’s Kindness Awards, a recognition ceremony that celebrates Childtime students’ good deeds and empathy.  After the awards, Papa Bear, Brother Bear & Sister Bear will be on hand at the school to meet with all local children and be available for photo opportunities.

Since Thanksgiving week, Childtime has taken part in a Season of Kindness campaign with activities and events designed to encourage and showcase children’s kind acts.  The effort is a key element in a partnership with children’s television network Sprout emphasizing valuable life skills children need to live, play and work alongside others.  The partnership aims to engage children in reading and to promote kindness -- two areas of growing concern for families nationwide.
