With spring in full swing, it’s time to kick-off the month of May appropriately with some delicious spring fare. Looking to indulge in some of the freshest, seasonal ingredients this season has to offer? Search no further – the Community Canteen has you (and your cravings!) covered… 

In the mood to taste the season’s best? Well then head to the farmers market - the Farmer’s Market Dinner that is... On Sunday, May 1st, The Community Canteen is hosting the first in a series of seasonal family-style farm dinners, and we're inviting you! Featuring sustainably-grown produce, meats and ingredients from the Loudoun Valley Homegrown Markets Association, this won’t be your mom’s old meatloaf.

For $50 per person (plus tax and gratuity) guests will enjoy a variety of signature hors d’oeuvres and a delicious three-course dinner perfectly paired with wines. Prepare to indulge in items such as delectable Deviled Crab Eggs, Chicateque Oysters, Cavatelli Pasta in a Creamy White Wine and Lemon Sauce, and Free Range Local Chicken Served Two Ways, to name just a few.
