Foley Academy provides a positive, encouraging, and inspiring atmosphere for dancers to learn Irish Dance, while defining goals, experiencing growth and success, and establishing long-lasting friendships. Our mission is for our dancers to build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and excel in their mastery of the technique and style that is unique to Irish Dance. Foley Academy offers classes in Traditional Irish Step and Ceili Dancing for children ages 5-17 and adults 18+. Classes are available for New Beginners through Champion dancers. Irish Dance experience is not required for New Beginners to register for classes. Join local authors Kwame Alexander and Cassidy Dyce at Reston Regional Library as they celebrate the release of their graphic novel The Brainstormerz: Money Talks!
Perfect for fans of Raina Telgemeier and Jerry Craft, the book follows three best friends at Roberto Clemente Elementary School as they hatch a plan to buy the most cutting-edge phone model. It's the first volume of a new middle-grade series and includes art by Eisner winner Rashad Doucet.
This event is recommended for ages 7 through 13. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This dynamic program features the Helping Hearts dancers along with the acclaimed Minh Vo Jazz Trio, outstanding singers from Sopranessence and renowned flutist Maria Louisa Rohde, formerly of The United States Army Band, Pershing’s Own. The intimate setting of The Vault gives you the chance to be upfront and close to the artists where you will surely feel the beat of the live music and energy of the dance!
