For every bowl you make, you can make a second one for free, which will be donated to the Empty Bowls event. Its great fun and a great way to help Empty Bowls!!
Empty Bowls is a fundraiser to help raise money to keep food pantries and other sources of food, well stocked for our less fortunate community members.
Empty Bowls will be on Friday, April 29 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at St John Neumann at 11900 Lawyers Road in Reston, VA. There is a minimum donation of $20 for the meal which includes a handcrafted bowl that you get to keep to remind us that there are those in our community who have empty bowls, plus soup, bread, a beverage and dessert. All contributions are tax-deductible. Tickets are limited, so we encourage you to get them ahead of time.
