The next Reston Photographic Society features Chris Spielmann, who will speak on Architectural Photography: Creativity and Reality, or How to Balance the Right Brain with the Left
Mr. Spielmann presentation will discuss how to meld photographic creativity with client desires. The collaboration of client input and his own experience make for successful photographs and good client relations. He will talk a bit about the business of photography and all of the non-photographic things that need to be addressed in order to run a successful business.
Supported by images from various assignments, Chris will discuss his approach to both exterior and interior architectural photography as well as post-production editing techniques. The section on editing will be more about planning for your edits and what is possible and will not be a how-to clinic. Chris has many years of experience in this field and is member of the Professional Photographers of America.
The Reston Photographic Society (RPS) is a special interest group within the League of Reston Artists (LRA). The purpose of the group is to provide opportunities for photographers to exhibit their work in gallery settings; to gain knowledge and skills through workshops, competitions, other activities, and to support encourage, and celebrate the efforts of each member.
