Fairfax County Police Charge Teen Girls in Car Fire at South Lakes High

Fire investigators charged two with intentionally setting a fire Sunday, Jan. 25.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators have charged two female juveniles with intentionally setting a fire Sunday, Jan. 25, according to Fairfax County Police.

Both are charged with one count of 18.2-81, burning of personal property valued at $200 or more of the Virginia Code, according to police.

The charges are connected to a vehicle fire at South Lakes High School, police noted.

Damage is estimated at $2,000. There were no injuries.
