Fall Temps Won't Arrive This Week In Reston

RESTON, VA -- For those hoping for that crisp chill of fall this week as we enter October, unfortunately you will have to wait a bit longer -- but at least it will be pleasant in Reston for the most part.

Temperatures will remain fairly warm and make things feel more on the summery side for much of the week, according to the National Weather Service's extended forecast for our area.

Highs will reach into the mid-80s on Monday, as they will on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday through Sunday will be much cooler, which highs around 80 to the high 70s.

We should get plenty of sunshine, a nice contrast from the past few weeks. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday, and a chance of showers on Wednesday, but no higher than 30 percent. All other days are mostly to partly sunny.
