Food, Coat Drives Coming To Reston On Saturday
Cornerstones Coat Closet and Stuff the Bus will be accepting donations Saturday at the North County Government Center.
RESTON, VA — It's time for you to clean out those closets and food cupboards, as two local charities are hosting clothing and food drives this Saturday in Reston.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Cornerstones Coat Closet will be collecting clean coats in good condition, as well as new warm gloves and hats for all ages, at the North County Government Center, located at 1801 Cameron Glen Drive, Reston. Cornerstones cannot accept used gloves and hats or other clothing.
In order help local families facing food insecurity, Stuff the Bus will have buses parked from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the North County Government Center and also at Patrick Henry Library, 101 Maple Ave. East, Vienna.
