Former Clyde's Of Reston Chef Tapped For Massive New Restaurant In C-Ville
Three Notch'd Brewing Company, which sells beer in the Reston area, is spending $3 million on a major expansion.

RESTON, VA — A brewery in Charlottesville is spending a staggering $3 million on a huge expansion, and they've tapped the former executive chef at Clyde's of Reston to head up what will be the largest restaurant in the area.
Three Notch'd Brewing Company has hired Patrick Carroll, formerly of Clyde's of Reston, as the executive chef at their new brewery and restaurant on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, according to a statement from the company.
The restaurant's owners saw the need to expand from their cramped current location on Grady Avenue, which has exploded in popularity in the last few years. The brewery currently doesn't offer food, so this is an ambitious concept that Carroll will helm.
