More than 16,000 families and individuals benefit annually from the safety-net services and programs offered by Cornerstones. According to Kerrie Wilson, CEO of Cornerstones, providing fresh, nutritious meals is one of the essential services her organization offers at the Reston shelter.

"One of our first triage steps at the Shelter is to ensure that everyone has three nutritious, hot meals a day to rebuild their physical and emotional stability," she said. "Founding Farmers at Reston Station is a valued partner in this health effort. Grounded in their ability to serve foods grown and harvested from American farming families to our community, Founding Farmers quickly stepped up to fill gaps in our Shelter's catered meal program due to COVID-19. Since April they have generously supported the Shelter with many weeks of catered breakfast and lunch meals. We deeply appreciate the company's commitment to helping Cornerstones provide life-changing services and programs to our most vulnerable neighbors."
