Gail 'for Rail' Parker, Independent Green Party, makes ballot for Chair, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors

Alexandria, VA – The State Board of Elections has confirmed that Gail ‘for Rail’ Parker, Independent Green Party (IG), will be on the ballot for the November 3rd General Election for Chairman Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. Gail for Rail, a well known advocate for More Trains, Less Traffic, is a retired U.S. Air Force Officer, retired Pentagon civilian executive budget analyst, mother of three, grandmother of four.
Gail ‘for Rail’ Parker (IG) is a Virginia conservative and Independent Green Party leader. Many people in Fairfax County know Gail as host of Channel 10’s weekly “Green TV”, HD Channel 1010. Gail says, “Mass transit – Rail -- is the future, not billion dollar boondoggle toll roads on I-66 and 95. It’s time to usher in the Solar Age and high-speed rail -- Light rail feeder systems for our population centers that feed into Regional Rail that hooks up with High-Speed Rail nationwide. Fairfax County, the largest and most populous county in Virginia, can and should do more to encourage and use renewable energy and rail mass transit. More Trains, Less Traffic across Virginia.”
Gail is for the Independent Green Party Green New Deal. Eco jobs for the economy: solar jobs, geothermal jobs, rail jobs. We can make money with renewable energy solutions. The way we do this is to stop putting money into capital infrastructure for roads and divert that investment to employing renewable energy solutions. Secondly, we build mass transit – rail—with the savings. That way we can make money and have cleaner air and water instead of paying-out and polluting. That is why voters should select Independent Green Party candidates in November.
