Get 'Em Fast: Reston Morton's Offering $1 Filet Mignon Sandwiches on Friday

RESTON, VA -- There seems to be a day dedicated to everything these days -- even a specific cut of beef. But if you're in Reston, that will work to your favor this Friday, as Morton's is offering $1 filet mignon sandwiches to celebrate National Filet Mignon Day a day early.

The "official" day is actually Aug. 13, but since that is a Saturday, presumably Morton's would rather run the promotion on a weekday.

The filet mignon is a cut of beef taken from the end of the tenderloin and is considered one of the most choice cuts of meat there is, and as a result it's typically the most expensive cut. But for one day, you'll be able to get it in sandwich form for dirt cheap.

Morton's of Reston -- which is located at 11956 Market Street in Reston Town Center -- will be offering the sandwiches all day on Friday, Aug. 12 in the bar area.

Morton's will be offering the deal at all of its locations nationwide.
