Get Ready for Lots of Holiday Cheer on Lake Anne in Reston

RESTON, VA — Reston is getting a jump start on the holidays this December, hosting a very merry celebration at Lake Anne on the third day of the month.

The "Jingle on Lake Anne" holiday event will take place Saturday, Dec. 3, and it will feature everything from a shopping event to cookie decorating to Santa's arrival, finishing off with a tree-lighting ceremony and caroling once night falls on Reston, according to a statement from Lake Anne Plaza.

The event is free and will take place rain or shine on the Plaza, which is located at 1609 Washington Plaza.

The event schedule from the Plaza is below:

• 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Farmers & Craft Market
• 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Gifts from the Heart: Shopping Event and Reception
• 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Cookie Decorating/Crafts/Beer Garden/Mulled Wine/Plaza Activities
• 12:00PM – NOON SANTA ARRIVES BY BARGE!
• NOON – 2:00 PM Pictures with Santa
• 6:30 PM Tree Lighting and Caroling
