Giving Circle of HOPE Partners with Fairfax County Human Services to Present A Path Toward Tomorrow

Giving Circle of HOPE and Fairfax County Human Services to provide a series of educational events to shed light on the needs in our county.

Beginning September 20 and continuing through October 5, the Giving Circle of HOPE in partnership with Fairfax County Human Services, will provide the public with a series of educational events that will shed light on the myriad needs in our county and the contributions that community organizations such as the Giving Circle of HOPE have provided through collective giving.

Due to changes in population, economy and infrastructure and their ensuing impact, Fairfax County Health and Human Services conducted a county-wide needs assessment resulting in a new report entitled, The Path Toward Tomorrow. Key needs were identified in the areas of housing, economic self-sufficiency, health and connections to resources and these issues will provide the crux of these events highlighting the need for partnerships and collaboration through an integrated model.

As noted by Deputy County Executive, Patricia Harrison, ‘To successfully preserve the character of our county and ensure its success, we must all work together to examine our current effort and find innovative ways to invest in these critical concerns.’ One such way to innovate is through collective giving and representatives from the Giving Circle of HOPE will provide an overview of how their financial contributions and volunteer efforts have made a million dollar impact throughout the county with the belief that every dollar invested grants a new future and a stronger community.
