Guns Stolen from Reston Home Friday Night: Police

Police say a man returned home to find someone had entered his house through an unsecured basement door.

RESTON, VA — A Reston resident discovered Friday night that someone had entered his house through an unlocked door and stolen his guns, police say.

Police say that at around 8:25 p.m. on April 28 in the 11100 block of Forest Edge Drive, a resident reported that someone entered the house "through an unsecured basement door" and took firearms.

The investigation is ongoing.
