Heat Advisory Across Northern Virginia on Thursday
Temperatures may feel like we're over 100 degrees for several hours on Thursday, the National Weather Service advises.

A heat advisory will be in effect across Northern Virginia from noon until 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 14.
The heat index, or "feels like" temperature, will be between 100 to 105 degrees for several hours, according to the National Weather Service. The hottest part of the day will be around 5 p.m.
"The combination of high temperatures and high humidity will create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible," according to the weather service statement.
