Hey everyone!
Here's the deal - I just came across Patch and realize how awesome it is, and I'm looking to get involved in a few ways:
- I going to build a website for a local nonprofit - and I need ideas for which ones. I want a credible organization that has a motivated team and a cause that I believe in - but lacks a cool and compelling web presence. I plan to release a series of blog posts detailing the project, the process, etc. for everyone to follow along. Who knows - maybe other organizations can benefit from this type of "case study!" Please comment on this blog post with suggestions.
- I'm looking to organize a local small business community on here. More on this to come at a later date!
- I'm going to be writing weekly / bi-weekly on this blog with cool tips related to tech, business, and productivity/motivation. I'm always scouring the internet and staying up-to-date on all of this stuff. Feel free to subscribe to my bi-weekly newsletter, as well.
My name is Jared Gold, and I own a local web design business called Streamline. We create beautifully simple websites that are easy for clients to maintain. We work with [primarily local] small businesses, nonprofits, and associations.
