Jessica Says:
This week I had a meeting with a client and had to run errands, and I wanted to stick with our blog theme this week and wear our Winter Wardrobe Updates. I wanted to look stylish, yet be comfortable since I knew I would be on my feet a lot.
For the client meeting look I opted for the tuxedo pants look, but I only have tuxedo shorts. This is how I styled it.
Since they are shorts, I wore black tights and wedge booties (one of our Winter Accessory must haves) to keep my leg line long. I could also easily wear a black high boot (Here, Here, Here) for a more casual look. I kept the top a chunky black sweater to balance the shorts, I added my leather jacket for extra warmth and a touch of shape as it brings me in at the waist. I also wore our Metal Bib Necklace and simple gold hoops.
Since I was meeting a client and needed all my styling goods, I carried my Gunmetal tote. (Love it!)
If you don't have tuxedo shorts, you can create this same look with the tuxedo pants we suggest here: http://www.jandjproject.com/p/fall-2013-wardrobe-updates.html. Or swap out the tuxedo shorts, for other shorts (Here, Here, Here)
For running errands I opted for the green skinnies look, this is how I styled it.I based my look after Look Three in our Green Skinny Four Ways post.
I wore my cargo green skinnies, added my own trench coat, and my leopard wedges-Other fun wedges/booties (Here,Here, Here, Here). I love this chevron rust infinity scarf--other scarf suggestions (here, here, here). Underneath, I wore my chambray shirt and a camel pull over sweater. So simple to make this look my own--show us how you make these looks your own.
