How Safe Is Your Bike? Stop By Reston Bike Safety Event
Fairfax Alliance for Better Bicycling and the Fairfax County Police are hosting a bike safety event Saturday morning on the W&OD Trail.
RESTON, VA — The Fairfax Alliance for Better Bicycling (FABB) is hosting a bike safety event with the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) Saturday on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail in Reston. The aim of the event is to improve bicycle education among bicyclists, motorists, and police.
The event will take place from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, near the mile 17 marker of the W&OD Trail, just west of the Wiehle Avenue/Sunset Hills Road intersection.
Riders can pick up bike safety tips and share their concerns with FCPD officers and other county officials. They can also grab some snacks, water, safety literature, hand sanitizers, and masks.

Reston residents are encouraged to bring their bikes. In addition, Reston Bike Lane will be there to perform bike safety checks.
