Huge Corporation Moving To Reston: Report

A major government contractor reportedly is moving into the building formerly occupied by Scitor Corp. on Sunset Hills Road.

RESTON, VA — A massive government contractor reportedly has just chosen Reston for its new headquarters.

Science Applications International Corp., or SAIC, will move its headquarters from McLean to Reston on July 1 as it consolidates its office space in the D.C. region, according to a report from Washington Technology.

SAIC will move into office space at Sunset Hills Road near Reston Town Center that was formerly occupied by Scitor Corp., which SAIC bought for $790 million two years ago. The location is just a mile from the headquarters of former parent company Leidos on Freedom Drive.

SAIC, which provides government services and information technology support, pulls in $4.5 billion in annual revenue.
