Huge Film Festival is Coming to Reston Next Week
The sixth annual Washington West Film Festival kicks off Oct. 19.

RESTON, VA — Get ready for one of the area's biggest film festivals, kicking off next week right here in Reston. The Washington West Film Festival begins next Wednesday and runs through the 25th.
It's the sixth year of the festival, and there are 59 films on tap this time around.
The films will be shown at Bow Tie Reston Town Center 11 & BTX Theater, which is located at 11940 Market Street. Tickets are $12-15.

And it's all for a good cause: the festival donates 100 percent of its box office net proceeds to solving world problems like hunger, illness and poor education.
"The Washington West Film Festival screens world-class, premiere, and award winning films throughout the D.C. region," the website states. "Built on the strong belief that 'Story Can Change the World,' Washington West expands the way philanthropy is thought about and experienced."
