RESTON, VA — Massive lines of hundreds of voters were reported at polling stations in Reston before polls even opened at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, and local officials are gearing up for a record-setting Election Day.
Photos and video shared on social media suggest that people are very motivated to vote in this contentious election for either Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton or her Republican counterpart, Donald Trump -- or, perhaps for a third-party candidate as many voters still don't care for either option.

Strong turnout in Fairfax County is good news for Clinton, as the county voted overwhelmingly for Barack Obama in 2012.
