ICYMI: Woman Found Lying in the Road in Reston, Police Seek Public's Help

Police say the woman, who was sent to the hospital, may have been hit by a car or could have suffered from a medical condition.

RESTON, VA — Police are asking for help from the public after finding a 45-year-old woman lying in the road near the Hunters Woods Village Center in Reston Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the area of Colts Neck Road and Hunters Woods Plaza at around 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department. They found a 45-year-old woman lying in the street, who they sent to Reston Hospital Center in a life-threatening condition.

"An investigation is underway to determine if a vehicle was involved or other medical conditions were a factor," the report states.
