Il Fornaio At Reston Town Center Is Closing: Reports
After a decade in Reston, the Italian restaurant will be closing its doors.
RESTON, VA — A longtime Reston Town Center fixture is shutting down soon, according to numerous reports online.
The California-based Italian restaurant Il Fornaio, located at 11990 Market Street, first opened at RTC in 2007, but with its 10-year lease up, the restaurant has decided to call it quits.
Reston Town Center has been the center of a fight between merchants and manager Boston Properties over paid parking. While Il Fornaio is located in a portion of Reston Town Center operated by JBG, and has its own free parking lot, a RestonNow report suggests that they have lost business because of the ugly situation.

Fans of the restaurant set up a "Last Happy Hour" event on Facebook set for Friday evening.
